Fire erupts at Piliyandala factory
A fire has erupted at a factory in Dolekanatta, Mawinthara, Piliyandala.The Fire Services Department says that fire-fighting crews from the Sri Jayawardenapura and Dehiwala Municipal Councils and other fire brigades have been deployed to douse the blaze.
The factory has been completely destroyed by the fire. Meanwhile, the police stated that the fire has also spread to a house in the vicinity. The cause of the fire has not been ascertained as yet.
