Passenger dies after motor accident
A passenger who got off from a bus as it stopped at a filling station in Mahiyangana, died after getting squeezed in between a tipper and the alleged bus last night.
The alleged passenger got off from the bus with the conductor as the bus was about to leave the filling station.
The victim who went to the rear of the bus died after he was sandwiched between the bus which was reversing and a tipper which arrived from behind.
According to the Police media sources, the deceased passenger is a 22 year old resident of Uvathissapura, Dikkendayaya area.
